Prelude No. 1 (Lyric Melody) by Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos (1887-1959). Villa-Lobos composed five Preludes and twelve Etudes in the early 20th century for the modern-day classical guitar. The five Preludes constitute his artistic pinnacle for the guitar and were completed in 1940.
